The laboratory uses innovative 3D printing technologies to design and create solutions to support scientific research.

Development of tailor-made devices for environmental monitoring

The laboratory allows the creation of customized devices such as sensors and samplers to monitor and improve the quality of air, water and soil, contributing to the protection of human health and ecosystems.

Advanced technologies for functional and scalable prototypes

Thanks to cutting-edge technologies such as FDM and MSLA, combined with vacuum material deposition systems and precision laser machining, it is possible to create functional and scalable prototypes, paving the way for a more sustainable future.

Our commitment to a sustainable future

The laboratory is committed to providing innovative solutions that support scientific research and contribute to a more sustainable future for all.

Laboratory equipment:

  • The laboratory inside has several printers that use technologies such as FDM (Fusion Deposition Modeling), MSLA (Masked Stereo Lithography Apparatus).
  • A vacuum deposition system (assisted PVD), for the production of thin films of metals, oxides, polymers, carbon-based materials for coating printed devices and more.
  • A 3D scanner offers the possibility of digitizing objects to create or invent models.
  • A UV – IR fiber laser for metal oxidation, micro-cutting, micro-patterning of surfaces and substrates.
