On Tuesday 18 June 2024 at the Cantieri Culturali alla Zisa, in Palermo, the sixth “Sustainable Islands” report – 2024 edition, written by IInstitute on Air Pollution of the CNR and Legambiente.
From the report it can be seen that the sustainability in smaller islands is a challenge still to be won: with a average performance index of the 46% the percorso towards the green continues yes, but a slow.
They are further along the sustainability path on the island of Capri, with a sustainability index of 62%, the island of Lily, the islands Isole e Ustica, which are over 50%.
