Monday 16 SeptemberOn the occasion of "World Ozone Day 2024", World Day for the Preservation of the Ozone Layer, the Institute of Atmospheric Pollution of the CNR organizes un informative seminar at the conference room of theResearch Area of ​​Rome 1 (ARRM1) from 09: 30 12 to: 30.

It will be an important day to reflect on the importance of stratospheric ozone layer and to discuss the concrete actions undertaken and the results achieved to protect and restore it.

During the event, experts and researchers will delve into the role of Montreal Protocol and its Kigali Amendment in addressing current challenges, with a focus on the monitoring carried out and the results achieved.

Three high school classes will also be present in the classroom, ready to discuss and share their ideas with researchers and teachers.

The event is organized in collaboration with the Ministry of the Environment and Energy Security (MASE) andUniversity of Urbino Carlo Bo.
