On Friday 14 November 2025, the final presentation workshop of the project took place at the Conference Hall of the Rome 1 Territorial Research Area of the CNR Space2Sea.
The meeting represented an opportunity to discuss the results achieved and the application prospects of a research path dedicated to the use of satellite data, artificial intelligence and digital technologies for data management; planet of ecosystems marini e coastal.
The project has developed a platform, innovative able to integrate services for Monitoring, the protection , evaluation with resources Navy e coastal, through theuse di technologies spatial advanced and blockchain.
The project partners participated in the event DIGIMAT SpA e Infoteam srl, together with institutions, sector stakeholders, representatives of the BUT IF, municipal administrations, companies in the supply chain and various CNR Research Institutes.
During the day, the platform's three vertical services were illustrated:
- S1 – Monitoring of areas in biological rest period, with practical examples of the use of satellite data to identify areas subject to temporary restrictions;
- S2 – Fishing tracking and certification of areas of origin, through digital solutions and QR codes integrated with certified information;
- S3 – Monitoring and protection of the marine and coastal environment, based on satellite observations and indicators to assess the state of ecosystems.
Informative videos dedicated to the services were also presented, created to clearly communicate how the platform works and its operational applications.
The final discussion highlighted the prospects for extending the platform to new territorial contexts, integrating additional datasets, and enhancing its functionality for the fishing industry and coastal monitoring.
The event concluded with thanks to the project partners, institutions, and operators involved in the experimental activities.
