Thursday December 14, starting at 15pm, will take place at Tiber Hall of Lazio region in via Colombo 212, in Rome, the final conference of the SELVA project entitled "SELVA Project: a model for managing forestry resources on a regional scale".

The SELVA project, born from an agreement stipulated between Lazio region andCNR Institute on Atmospheric Pollution (CNR-IIA), has allowed important acquisitions data collected and information for check , development of the potential energetic da biomass and to create the application web RIB, Register of Biomass Plants, which allows the census, registration and monitoring of biomass plants solid present and active in Lazio.
Il convention, which involves the participation of representatives of regional and national bodies and institutions, will be an opportunity to present the results obtained with the project and RIB tool to professionals and operators in the sector, to carry out an initial exchange of experiences on this important and current subject.

After a first part in which researchers from the CNR-IIA and speakers from the Region will illustrate the Project, two sessions are planned: the first “Opportunities and management of land resources and ecosystem services” and the second “Round table: Good practices for forest management”.
