Abstract of the project
The activities that will be conducted are aimed at supporting the drafting and harmonization of the SEAP (Sustainable Energy Action Plan) in the SEAP (Sustainable Energy and Climate Action Plan), in particular the SEAPs were not required to address climate change adaptation at all, which should be included in the Guidonia SECAP.
Furthermore, the SECAP will be updated with the new targets: the signing of the Covenant of Mayors requires cities to commit to supporting the implementation of the EU target of reducing greenhouse gases by 55% by 2030, and the adoption of a common approach to addressing climate change mitigation and adaptation.
The state of affairs of the previous program will be analyzed and the actions that are underway, concluded or not implemented will be evaluated, the critical aspects and the problems that have arisen will be evaluated. During the drafting of the SECAP, it will be assessed whether these actions of the previous programming can be included as actions to be implemented and/or continued to be pursued. We will proceed with the analysis of the current state of the territorial and socio-economic framework of the Municipality on the basis of the main national and/or local databases and with the drafting of the Basic Emissions Inventory (BEI). Following the analysis of the As Is scenario, we will proceed with the elaboration of the long-term strategy indicating with precision the objective of reducing emissions by 2030, through the future implementation of actions that will concern both the mitigation and adaptation to climate change . The participatory process will allow to acquire valuable inputs and data thanks to the sharing of knowledge, as well as to obtain feedback on the work carried out.
The objective of the activity is the drafting of the programmatic plan SECAP (Action Plan for Sustainable Energy and Climate) of the municipality of Guidonia.
