To celebrate the 55th anniversary, the Institute on Air Pollution of the CNR organized an event entitled “IIA: 55 years for research”.
During the day, after the institutional greetings, the author, writer and screenwriter Luca Manzi performed in an artistic-musical performance on the theme “The sacredness of air and nature through the glories of the past”, accompanied by jazz music.
Subsequently, Directors, researchers and technicians retraced the history of the Institute which, founded in 1968 by Prof. Arnaldo Liberti, has as its main objective the development of innovative methods and technologies for determining the concentrations of pollutants present in the atmosphere.
Finally, they were presented photo book and the 15 digital panels, specifically developed for the event thanks to the collaboration and contribution provided by many colleagues. Both works trace the main milestones reached and results achieved by the Institute in 55 years of research activity. The posters were installed in the "Digital Corridor" of the CNR where it was possible to enjoy the reconstruction of the long and interesting activity of the IIA in a highly effective context.
